Louisville junior guard Dana Evans was named ACC Player of the Week on Monday. This is the second time this season that Evans has claimed the honor.

The 5’6″ Gary, IN guard has seemingly settled into her new role after the departure of both Asia Durr and Arica Carter. Evans has scored 20 or more points in the past three games and has only failed to score in double figures once this season, against Syracuse.

She also leads the team in both three-point accuracy and assists, making 58 of 129 threes for 45% and averaging 4.3 assists per game. Her free throw shooting is the team’s best as well, with 70 made on 76 attempts for 92%.
