Better late than never.
After not being listed at all at one point, Louisville was the last team standing in the 4-star cornerback Jairus Brents sweepstakes.

Brents was set to sign at 3pm at Waggener High School but announced that he would be signing later that night. He chose Louisville over a host of schools that included Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pitt, and Cincy to name a few. Cincy and Louisville were said to be the finalists.
Brents played both sides of the ball during his career at Waggener. On defense Brents recorded 62 tackles, two sacks and two interceptions. While on offense, he would pass for 972 yards and 13 touchdowns .
Brents joins the 4-star DB crew that had already signed with PJ Mbanasor, Rodjay Burns, Trenell Troutman and Marlon Character being the others. We welcome Jairus to the Ville.
