One of the top Louisville football linebacker targets for the 2017 football class, Tadarrius Patterson, is expected to visit Louisville on April 9th. The athletic outside linebacker told me several weeks ago that he would announce his decision August the 19th but said “Louisville is a great place and I feel as I am ready to make a decision”. That leads us to this tweet from Patterson on March 25th.

So what does Patterson like about Louisville? “Just the town, have family there and the Ville is a beautiful place.” He went on to say “The way they are improving every season and the defensive scheme they use is what I’m looking for.” Throughout his recruitment Coach Scott has been his main contact “I talk to him almost every day of the week” Patterson said,  “He just talks about life off the field and how I will be a perfect fit to their scheme.” As far as what type of player he is, Patterson described himself as having “good pass rushing skills, aggressiveness, and leadership.”

With Patterson set to visit Louisville on April 9th as well as the above mentioned tweet, is there a possibility Louisville may add another commitment to the 2017 class? We will keep you updated!

My prediction: Louisville
