UofL right-handed pitcher Bobby Miller has been named a Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, becoming the third Cardinal to receive 2018 All-American honors, and the second by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
Becoming a mainstay of the starting rotation halfway through the season, the native of McHenry, Illinois had a very successful freshman campaign. Going 6-1 over 17 appearances and 9 starts, he boasted an ERA of 2.97 in 66.2 innings pitched, and carried a strikeout to walk ratio of 55 to 21. His spectacular performance over the season did not go unnoticed by Coach Mac, as it earned him a starting role in not only the ACC Championship game, but the Kent State elimination game as well.
