The No. 2 Louisville baseball team travels to the Palmetto State for a top 10 showdown against No. 7 Clemson starting Friday at 1 p.m., ET at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. First pitch for the series-opener was changed (originally set for 6:30 p.m.) due to potential inclement weather. The Cardinals and Tigers will continue their series Saturday at 4 p.m., and Sunday at noon. ABOUT THE CLEMSON TIGERS
Clemson has a 37-12 record overall following a win over Furman on Tuesday night in Greenville. The Tigers are second in the ACC Atlantic with a 16-8 record. Last season, Clemson was 44-20 overall and fourth in the Atlantic with a 16-14 record. The Tigers were 2-2 in the NCAA Regional in Clemson falling in the championship round to Oklahoma State.
