The University of Louisville football program will be well represented when 11 former players will participate in the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine, which is to be held later this month in Indianapolis.

The Cardinals are tied with Alabama for the second-most invitees in the nation, while fellow ACC-foe Florida State 12 players attending the NFL Combine.

Louisville has a representative at running back (2), wide receiver, tight end, offensive line (2), defensive line, linebacker and defensive back (3). Wide receiver DeVante Parker is among the headliners, as the 6-foot-3 pass catcher is proposed to be a high first-round pick. LinebackerLorenzo Mauldin is someone the scouts are highly interested in as the NFL Draft approaches on April 30-May 2.

With Florida State, Alabama and Louisville leading the way with double-digit invites, Florida had nine while Miami and Oklahoma each had eight.
