Former Louisville Wide Receiver Josh Bellamy has signed a 1-year $775,000 Contract with the Chicago Bears. Josh was originally undrafted in the 2012 draft but picked up by the Kansas City Chiefs and spent a season with the Washington Redskins. Bellamy has been with the Bears since 2014 and was retained prior to training camp by the Bears organization for 2017 with this new deal.
Josh will earn $775,000 in 2017 should he make the Bears 53-man roster. Bellamy caught 19 passes for 282 yards and a Touchdown last year. He also registered 4 carries for 37 yards, had a kick return and registered 6 tackles while playing in all 16 games for Chicago last year.
Josh is originally from Gulfport, FL’s Boca Ciega HS.
