With the first week of the 2013 NFL season officially in the books, this is how the former Cards faired in their first games.

American Football Conference (AFC)

Eric Wood – C Buffalo Bills: Eric and the Buffalo Bills played remarkably well in their first game under new head coach Doug Marrone but couldn’t hold off the Patriots in the end, falling 23-21 on a last minute field goal. Up Next: Sunday vs. Panthers

Bilal Powell – RB New York Jets: Bilal had 29 yards on 12 carries and 35 yards on 4 receptions to help the New York Jets comeback and beat the Buccaneers on a last minute field goal, 18-17. Up Next: Thursday @ Patriots

Elvis Dumervil – LB Baltimore Ravens: Elvis had a semi-productive first outing for the Ravens with 2 tackles, 1 sack, and 3 QB hits as Baltimore fell on the road to the Broncos, 49-27. Up Next: Sunday vs. Browns

Gary Barnidge – TE Cleveland Browns: Gary hauled in 1 pass for 9 yards in the Browns home loss to the Dolphins, 23-10. Up Next: Sunday @ Ravens

William Gay – CB Pittsburgh Steelers: Will had a strong first outing for the Steelers by having 3 tackles and 2 pass deflections in the home loss to the Titans, 16-9. Up Next: Monday @ Bengals

Alex Kupper – G Houston Texans: Alex is on the Practice Squad for the Houston Texans. In the event that he is elevated to the 53 man roster, we will update you on his status at that time. Up Next: Sunday vs. Titans

Byron Stingily – OT Tennessee Titans: Byron is on the 53 man roster for the Tennessee Titans, but was listed as inactive for the Titans road win against the Steelers in Week 1, 16-9. Up Next: Sunday @ Texans

Josh Bellamy – WR San Diego Chargers: Josh was signed to the Chargers Practice Squad on 9/10/13. In the event that he is elevated to the 53 man roster, we will update you on his status at that time. Up Next: Sunday @ Eagles

Johnny Patrick – CB San Diego Chargers: Johnny had 1 tackle on special teams for the Chargers as the Texans rallied for the win on the road, 31-28.Up Next: Sunday @ Eagles

National Football Conference (NFC)

Michael Bush – RB Chicago Bears: Michael had 15 yards rushing on 6 carries in the Bears home win over the Cincinnati Bengals, 24-21. Up Next: Sunday vs. Vikings

David Akers – K Detriot Lions: David was 2/2 on field goals with a long of 42 yards and 4/4 on extra points as the Lions beat the Minnesota Vikings at home, 34-24. Up Next: Sunday @ Cardinals

Harry Douglas – WR Atlanta Falcons: Harry led all Falcons receivers with 93 yards on 4 receptions in their opening day loss at the Saints, 23-17. Up Next: Sunday vs. Rams

Breno Giacomini – OT Seattle Seahawks: Breno and the Seattle Seahawks went into Carolina and came out with a win, 12-7, in a very sloppy offensive game for both teams. Up Next: Sunday vs. 49ers

Greg Scruggs – DE Seattle Seahawks: Greg is on the Physically Unable to Perform list for the Seattle Seahawks and is out until at least Week 6. Up Next: Sunday vs. 49ers
