Winter Park, Florida wide receiver Jordan Pouncey unofficially visited Louisville for practice on 3/23. The 6’3″ prospect said of the visit “I enjoyed everything! It was my first time in Louisville and Kentucky at that. It was quite fascinating. It was probably once of the coolest stadiums and facilities I’ve seen.” While taking in practice, Pouncey had the opportunity to talk to both Coach Petrino and Coach Galloway “After speaking with Coach Petrino and Coach Galloway, I will be best at that outside receiver. Like the next DeVante Parker.”
Louisville will face stiff competition from hometown school UCF even though Pouncey said that he doesn’t currently have any top schools. “I like UCF a lot because both my parents went there and I live 10 minutes away, so it’s like home.”
One thing to note: Coach Galloway recruited Pouncey while he was at West Virginia and with Galloway now a coach at Louisville “It kind (of) sways my liking towards Louisville.” Pouncey said. When asked about the type of coach and person Coach Galloway is, Pouncey had this to say “Coach Galloway is a GREAT coach and also a great person.”
This will definitely be a recruitment that we will monitor.
