After kicking off Fall workouts last weekend with a pair of intrasquad scrimmages, the Louisville Baseball program continues their fall period with two additional scrimmages this weekend.
The Cardinal Nine will start off the weekend with another intrasquad scrimmage this Friday at 2:15pm (1pm batting practice). Also, in honor of the Football Cardinals taking on Western Kentucky on Saturday, they will be taking on the Hilltoppers on the diamond as well. First pitch for their exhibition match is set for 1pm (11am batting practice).
As part of their fall workouts, Louisville will continue hosting scrimmages each weekend until the fall concludes with the Pizza Bowl in mid-October. The Cards are also set to take on the Indiana Hoosiers in an open exhibition match prior to the Louisville-FSU football game. Times for scrimmages each week are TBD, and will be determined on a week to week basis to accommodate the weather.
