Two Cincinnati, OH prospects, Jarell White and TreSean Smith of LaSalle High School, visited Louisville Friday afternoon. Smith, who has visited UofL several times before, said of the visit “I loved it, it gets better and better each time”. While this was a fairly short visit Smith did say that they were able to see more of the campus and that he “fell in love” with the dorm rooms.

One of the main reasons for the visit was to show Smith’s dad around the campus since he hadn’t had a chance to visit yet. What did he think of the school? “He loves it and all it has to offer” Smith said.

So after having yet another great visit, is a commitment getting closer? “It got closer” Smith said, “I still want to take these next visits”.

While TreSean Smith does hold an offer from UofL, his teammate, Jarell White, does not and is hoping one comes his way. “Coach K wants to offer me now but have to sit down with the staff one more time” White said. What impressed White about Louisville? “Academics and just how they take care of their players”.

White, a 5’10” 190lb athlete has the ability to play several positions, two of which are running back and safety and is a high 3* prospect according to 247Sports. While he currently has 13 offers including Pittsburgh, Purdue, Iowa, and Kentucky, White said Louisville would “move up in my top 5” if they were to offer.
