Louisville Wide Receiver Jamari Staples has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent. Staples announced his signing on Instagram. Jamari measured 6’3, 195 lbs at the NFL combine and caught 36 passes for 615 yards and 2 TDs last season.
Also at the combine Staples recorded a 4.51 forty yard dash and a 36 inch vertical leap. Jamari transferred to UofL from UAB who discontinued its football program.
Contract terms aren’t yet released.
