According to a report published by WDRB news and confirmed by a source close to the situation, two Louisville football players, redshirt sophomore Henry Famurewa and redshirt junior James Hearns, were shot Saturday night at an off-campus party located at The Retreat at Louisville Cottage Apartments. According to the report the victims injuries appear not to be life-threatening.
During the 2016 season James Hearns recorded 43 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 8 sacks, and 5 forced fumbles. Famurewa contributed 10 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks.
