Bobby Petrino may be best known for his offense, but one position he has done particularly well with over the years, offensive line. From Eric Wood to Breno Giacomini, Petrino has a history of developing NFL caliber offensive lineman and Robbie Bell very well may be his next success story. In order to get to know the UofL offensive line commit even better, I reached out to his high school position coach, Josh Lovelady at Mill Creek High School, for some insight to who Robbie is on and off the field.

“Robbie has been an outstanding student athlete for Mill Creek. In the
classroom, he challenges himself by taking upper level honors courses while
being an A/B student.  Robbie has done a great job of training in the
off-season to prepare himself for the grind of the season.  He is very
focused not only lifting and running but also his nutrition/Diet
protocol.  One of the best things Robbie has going for him is that he is a
great practice player.  He buys in to the drill work and the focus needed
in practice to be successful on game night.  Robbie is extremely athletic
for his size- great feet, length and knows the game.  He will be a great
addition to U of L in the classroom, in the locker room and on the field.
I am proud of all that Robbie has accomplished here at Mill Creek and
excited for his next chapter at U of L.”
