Prediction
Louisville has been off since the day after Christmas in a losing effort at Rupp Arena vs. Kentucky. Since that time Trey Lewis severely sprained his ankle and will miss at least Sunday’s game vs. the Demon Deacons.
Wake Forest is a BIG team and can challenge UofL on the glass. Wake also has a talented back court. But it shouldn’t be enough. Rick Pitino said he will insert Donovan Mitchell into the lineup but he can also slide Damion Lee over to the 2 and play Deng Adel at the 3, so the Cards have versatility in the back court. Trey Lewis has been playing very well, but even without him this is a game the Cards should win but I don’t expect them to meet the expectations of the Vegas line.
