This evening, Louisville Women’s Basketball announced that they have paused all team-related activity indefinitely due to a positive COVID-19 test and accompanying contact tracing.
The pause in activity follows a positive test and contact tracing among Louisville’s “Tier 1” individuals, which includes student-athletes, coaches, team managers, and other staff members. Athletic director, Vince Tyra, says they are disappointed but following all of the proper protocols.
The Cards scheduled game against North Carolina this Sunday has been postponed. There has not been a decision made on any games scheduled past December 13th.
