Louisville’s game against Marshall could be seen as somewhat sloppy and maybe even a slight letdown, especially compared to their performance in the Florida St. game. The fact of the matter is, they destroyed Marshall both in the final score and how efficiently they played. The moral of the story is simple to me: When this team plays clean, disciplined football, they are an absolute force to be reckoned with. According to the statistics Louisville improved their offensive efficiency compared to the Florida St. game and played their second best defensive game of the year.
