  • Fred Johnson (HS) 6’5, 287
  • Jimmy Williams (HS) 6’4, 290
  • Monroe Mills 6’6, 315 (Texas Tech): Started last 2 seasons at Texas Tech, only 2 sacks allowed in 2023.

  • Reuben Unije 6’5, 310 (Houston, Graduate)
  • Rasheed Miller 6’7, 310 (Georgia Southern 4 years experience)

Monroe Mills started the last 2 seasons at Texas Tech blocking for Tyler Shough at QB. Mills allowed only 2 sacks in 500 pass block snaps at left tackle in 2023. Mills with at Oklahoma State in 2021 and 2020.

Pete Nygra was a two year starter for Northern Illinois and was regarded as one of the best centers in the MAC during 2023 starting all 12 games for NIU and did not allow a sack. He was the 2nd highest rated center in the MAC according the Pro Football Focus. Nygra is originally from Indianapolis and has 23 starts under his belt as he steps up to the ACC.

Jonathan Mendoza is a MASSIVE human being. He’s played 5 years of Ivy-League Football and was 1st Team All-Ivy League in 2023 starting all 10 games for Yale.

Victor Cutler played 3 seasons at Louisiana Monroe before transferring to Ohio State where he logged just 21 snaps at Center for the Buckeyes. At LA-Monroe Cutler played a variety of positions and started 21 games for the Warhawks

Reuben Unije started 11 games for Houston at Right Tackle in 2023 and entertained transfer offers from USC, Colorado, Virginia Tech and South Carolina. Unije was a HS player for IMG Academy before signing with Illinois, going to JUCO before landing for 4 years at Illinois. This is Reuben’s final year of eligibility joining Trevonte Sylvester and Lance Robinson also from Houston (in the 2023 transfer class).

Georgia Southern OT Rasheed Miller played all 4 of his years at Georgia Southern and transfers to Louisville for 2024. Miller started all 13 games and split time between left and right tackle for the Eagles while earning 2nd team All-Sun Belt honors.

In all the transfers coupled with the current roster returning gives Louisville solid Offensive line choices headed into Spring while also developing young talent to bolster the Cardinals for the future & depth purposes. Losing Bryan Hudson, Eric Miller and Willie Tyler isn’t going to be an easy task, but Jeff Brohm and Richard Owens have plenty of options to find the right mix for 2024.
