Louisville’s 4-star QB commitment Jawon “Puma” Pass remains committed to the Cards following a visit over the weekend to defending National Champions Alabama. Jawon will visit Louisville this weekend January 30th and plans to sign with the Cards on February 3rd.
Puma & his mother Kershena Thomas spoke with several media outlets on Sunday and both spoke about Pass’ visit to Bama being casual in nature with Jawon saying that he didn’t formally meet with Nick Saban or Lane Kiffin while in Tuscaloosa.
Bobby Petrino did an in-home visit with Jawon Pass on Wednesday before his visit began with Bama on Thursday. Pass said that Petrino is emphasizing that Jawon prepare to play as quickly as possible.
The Courier-Journal’s report from Steve Jones has a fantastic quote from Jawon Pass’ mother that essentially says that Jawon is excited to work with Louisville QB Lamar Jackson and that together they will get the job done. Be sure to read Steve’s full report.
