The University of Louisville picked up its 9th commitment Wednesday afternoon when Dutch Fork HS Matt Colburn (5’8, 186 lbs) committed to the Cards. Colburn from Irmo, SC reports a 4.36 40-yard dash on his HUDL page,  joins Troy Thingstad, TJ Jallow, Aaron Cochran, Chandler Jones, Kareem Orr, Dahu Green and Jonathan Greenard in the 2015 signing class.

Colburn is a 3-star Running Back according to Rivals.com and is unrated by 247sports.com & Scout.com. He rushed for 2488 yards, had 418 yards receiving, and posted 42 Touchdowns in 2013 while leading Dutch Fork to 4-A Division 1 State title & being named the Division 1 Player of the Year.

Matt recently camped at Louisville & holds offers from Marshall, UAB, Toledo, Mercer, Old Dominion, Charleston Southern, Coastal Carolina, James Madison, Presbyterian, South Carolina St. Tennessee State, and Furman and was recruited by Defensive Coordinator Todd Grantham who continues to be Louisville’s highest performing commitment generator for the Cards.
