Louisville Basketball landed its 1st commitment of the 2016 class on Friday afternoon when Fairfax, VA Paul VI Catholic product V.J. King pledged to the Cards.
V.J. King’s primary recruiter is Kenny Johnson and the 6’6′ 195 Small Forward is slated to fill the void of Damion Lee in 2016. Lee most recently transferred to UofL and is slated to replace Wayne Blackshear.
King is a consensus 5-star prospect by every scouting service and chose Louisville over UCONN, Arizona, Georgetown, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, Ohio State, Syracuse, Virginia, and Wisconsin…among others.
