Fresh from the win over Dartmouth, Jeff Walz and his Louisville team look to improve on their 5-5 record with a road game Friday against Tennessee Tech (3-6).  The Golden Eagles come into Friday’s contest after falling to Clemson Sunday by a score of 71-53.

For Louisville, the game offers the opportunity of continued improvement.  In Louisville’s game Tuesday, freshmen players were able to make a significant impact after being shutout in their previous contest against IUPUI.

The Golden Eagles are paced by senior guard Samaria Howard, who averages 17.7 points per game and 5.4 rebounds.  If there is a deficiency in Howard’s game, it would be her 25% three point shooting.  As a team, the Golden Eagles are struggling from the floor shooting 37% on the season.  They have also turned the ball over at an alarming rate as well, averaging 19 per game.

The game can be heard on 790 WKRD, with pre-game beginning at 6:00 P.M..
