One Week. Two 5-star Quarterbacks Gone for Texas A&M. Last Thursday starting QB Kyle Allen announced his transfer from Texas A&M. Exactly one week later Kyler Murray has also requested a transfer from the Aggies.
The move is strange because there seems to be a huge vacancy to win the starting QB job for the future in College Station and signals that something a little more serious may be afoot. Kevin Sumlin is famous for his passing attack and presumably signal callers would line up to play in his offense.
Now Sumlin will turn to JUCO Jake Hubenak for the bowl game. Hubenak led the JUCO ranks last year completing 216-333 for 4052 yards, 47 TD & 9 Interceptions in eight games at Blinn College. Hubenak also previously played at Oklahoma State. This year Jake appeared in 4 games and was 12-27 for 92 yards and a TD.
Louisville & Texas A&M face off in 13 days at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, TN for the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl.
