As a sign of appreciation for years of student support, University at Louisville football head coach Bobby Petrino has purchased 200 tickets and is donating them to Louisville students for Saturday night’s home opener against Indiana State.
“The students have always been an integral part of our football program,” Petrino said. “I’m thrilled to be able to provide an opportunity for a number of students to attend our home opener and see the brand new stadium. I’ve always appreciated the support we’ve received on campus, and it’s my way of saying thank you.”
The $15 tickets will be distributed among 10 different student organizations across campus.
The Cardinals and Sycamores kick off at 7 p.m. to open the 2018 home schedule.
