The University of Louisville baseball program was picked to finish fourth in the 2026 ACC Baseball Preseason Coaches Poll released on Thursday.
Louisville received 196 overall points in the poll, which was voted on by the league’s 16 head coaches.
Georgia Tech (237) will open the season as the preseason favorite, narrowly edging out North Carolina (236). Florida State (221) sits one spot ahead of the Cards, while Clemson (185) rounds out the top five.
The Cardinals own five ACC regular season titles in their first 10 full seasons as a member of the conference but are searching for their first since 2022.
Louisville has been ranked in all three preseason rankings already released, coming in as high as No. 8 in the D1Baseball poll.
Dan McDonnell leads the Cardinals in his 20th season this spring, which gets underway on Feb. 13 with the first of a three-game series against Michigan State at Jim Patterson Stadium.
