Louisville’s loss to Clemson didn’t greatly affect the Bowl Projections as the Cards weren’t expected to win that game by anyone creating the projections. But here is an update of where the Cards stand after 7 weeks of action according to the experts that we think do a good job.
ESPN- Brett McMurphy: Russell Athletic Bowl (12/29) vs. Oklahoma State
ESPN-Mark Schlabach: New Era Pinstripe Bowl (12/27) vs. Rutgers
CBS- Jerry Palm: Music City Bowl (12/30) vs. Tennessee
SB Nation – Jason Kirk: Russell Athletic Bowl (12/29) vs. Kansas State
We’ll keep a close eye on the changes that occur within the ACC. The Tax Slayer (Gator) Bowl on Jan 2nd is still a possibility while the Orange Bowl is an extreme long-shot at this point. No one has yet placed the Cards in the Belk Bowl, Independence, Military, Sun, Quick Lane, or Camellia Bowls but we will continue to monitor week to week on where the Cards might be heading this winter for the finale.
