Louisville Defensive Back Coach Keith Heyward has accepted a position with Willie Taggart’s new staff at Oregon. Heyward moves back out west where he has spent the entire balance of his career except for the 2016 season at UofL. Heyward came to Louisville last season after a run at Southern Cal and also coached at Washington and Oregon State (his alma mater).
The Cards will likely place a broader role on Secondary Coach Cort Dennison who has been a rising star within the program for some time now and is also an important force within recruiting for the Cardinal program as well.
We wish coach Heyward the very best of luck with the Ducks.
