Louisville Football Landed its 25th commitment of the 2015 recruiting class with Tight End Cole Hikutini of City College of San Francisco. Cole is a 2-star prospect according to Scout & Rivals.com, but is listed as a 3-star by 247sports.com and also has one of the best Twitter handles in recent memory: “Holy Colenolly” @colehikutini_07
The 6’5, 240 lbs junior college Tight End was committed to Purdue previously but flipped after being convinced to become a Card by Pete Nochta and Garrick McGee. The Cards have been thin in numbers at tight end for a number of years now and will lose Gerald Christian to graduation after the bowl game.
Cole Hikutini joins Kenny Thomas, Jeremy Smith, Drew Bailey, Geron Christian, Jaire Alexander, Dee (Darius) Smith, Amonte Caban, Paul Harris, Trey Smith, Lamar Jackson, Jaylen Smith, GG Robinson, Traveon Samuel, Khane Pass, Matt Colburn, Tim Bonner, TJ Jallow, James Allen, Matt Colburn, Aaron Cochran, Chandler Jones, Dahu Green and Jonathan Greenard in the 2015 class.
