The No. 18/16 Louisville Cardinals (18-3, 7-1 ACC) continue their undefeated home streak with a 77-58 win over Pittsburgh (7-14, 1-7 ACC) this afternoon. The Cards are now 11-0 at home this season and improve to 56-0 all-time at home against unranked ACC opponents. All 11 players scored for the Cards in the win, the third time that has happened this season.

Jayda Curry paved the way for the Cards with a team-high 15 points on 6-for-9 shooting from the field and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. The junior has performed well in the month of January, scoring in double figures in four of her last five games.

Kiki Jefferson also added double digits with 12 points. Jefferson pulled down five rebounds, had three assists, and two steals.

Louisville started off slower than usual without a point in the first two minutes. However, back-to-back three-pointers from Sydney Taylor and Jefferson provided the much-needed spark. The Cards ended the first frame on an 11-0 run and did not lose the lead for the remainder of the game.

Louisville totaled 12 steals with five different Cards recording two or more. Eylia Love had a strong defensive showing, leading the team with three steals in just 19 minutes of play.

Nyla Harris led with six rebounds and tallied eight points while both Taylor and Merissah Russell ended with nine points and two steals apiece.

The Cards ended the game by holding Pitt to zero field goals in the last 6:26 of regulation. Pitt’s Jala Jordan led the Panthers scoring with 17 points and Liatu King recorded the lone double-double of the game with 16 points and 14 rebounds.

The Cardinals will close out their three-game homestand as a ranked matchup is on deck this coming Thursday. Louisville will welcome No. 22 Syracuse to the KFC Yum! Center on Thursday, February 1. The Cardinals and Orange will square off at 7 p.m. ET and the game will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
