Myisha Hines-Allen scored 15 points to lead No. 10 Louisville to a solid 79-51 win over No. 17 Miami on Thursday night.

The Cardinals (23-6, 14-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) broke the game open with a 20-2 surge that ended the second quarter. Hines-Allen scored seven points during the spurt and Asia Durr‘s layup at the buzzer ended the run and gave Louisville a 40-21 lead at halftime.

Louisville held Miami (22-6, 10-5) without a field goal the final 7:43 of the half. The Hurricanes were 0-for-8 from the field and committed four turnovers during the drought.

Mariya Moore scored 14 points and Briahanna Jackson finished with 13 points for Louisville, which has won 20 of its last 21. Durr was Louisville’s fourth double figure scorer with 11 points.

Adrienne Motley scored 12 points for Miami.

Miami scored five unanswered points to start the third period before the Cardinals responded with a 21-0 run. Hines-Allen’s two free throws with 3:17 remaining capped the surge and increased Louisville’s lead to 61-26.
