Thursday:

NC State vs. #3 Clemson:  Tomorrow night, Card fans are Wolfpack fans.  I’m thinking it is a long-shot at best, but right now Clemson is in the way of the Cards climbing into the Top 2 in the country and also QB Tajh Boyd figures to be a major contender for the Heisman Trophy.  Clemson is a lot of fun to watch, but Card fans need to cheer against the the Tigers.  Next year the Cards will be in this division, so it is an important game to watch for your future education.

Saturday:

#23 Arizona State vs. #5 Stanford: Expect officials to be on their best behavior in Palo Alto a week after PAC-12 officials completely botched the ending of the Arizona State vs. Wisconsin game.  But this week, Cardinal fans need to get out their tridents and cheer on the Sun Devils.  Giving a loss to the Cardinal would be HUGE for Louisville.

Rutgers vs. Arkansas: Another AAC win over a SEC school would really help the conference.  I expect this to be a good game in New Jersey.  Maybe one of the best games of the weekend, especially between two unranked schools.  Winning this game would really help the profile of the upcoming game with Louisville & Rutgers.

Tennessee vs. #19 Florida: Might as well cheer on the Vols and give Florida their 2nd loss of the season and then hope the Gators can get things together and do damage in the SEC East.  This would be a big win for UT and eliminate the Gators once and for all in 2013 from national title contention.

Auburn vs. #6 LSU: Could this be real for Auburn?  AU has started 3-0 (1-0) already having won more games both in the season and in conference than they did in all of 2012.  Auburn certainly has talent, but LSU is a big step up from Washington St., Arkansas St, & Mississippi State. But Auburn is feeling the good vibes going into a night game at LSU.  They’ll need more than that.  Still Louisville fans will be hoping Auburn has the juice to beat the team that just jumped them in the AP Poll.

#22 Notre Dame vs. Michigan State:  Pick either.  It’s a game that is either going to put Notre Dame out of the poll or put Michigan State in the poll.  MSU is undefeated and they have more losses coming on their schedule. Notre Dame getting their second loss would be nice.  But either way, this game happening helps. I just would choose to give the Spartans their first loss.

SMU vs. #10 Texas A&M:  Louisville fans want ALL American Athletic Conference teams to win every week, but SMU taking down the Aggies would be huge.  Just extremely unlikely.
