UAB Transfer Jamari Staples has chosen the Louisville Cardinals after UAB decided to close its football program. Eligible immediately and will enroll at UofL this week, Staples had 9 receptions for 190 yards & 1 TD last year and 31 catches for 458 and 4 TDs in 2013 under offensive coordinator Garrick McGee.
Staples is 6’4, 190 lbs and will have 2 seasons to play football for the Cards. Jamari was originally a 2-star WR product out of Clay Central HS in Ashland, AL with offers from Southern Miss, Toledo, Western Kentucky, and UAB.
