Tonight from 6:00 to Midnight at “Brownie’s The Shed Grille & Bar” at 237 Whittington Parkway (Hurstbourne & Shelbyville Rd.) will be a fundraiser for former Louisville player & graduate assistant Pete Nochta to help his battle against Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
I will be there during the evening with some friends and proceeds from food & drink orders will go towards Pete’s Lymphoma Fund . There will also be a silent auction, with several former Louisville Football players in attendance and a live band. The public is encouraged to attend and help Pete with his battle.
Pete played for the Cards from 2006-2010 and was a graduate assistant for UofL last season coaching the tight ends and was also with Coach Petrino at Western Kentucky. Nochta recently began chemotherapy and any support Cardinal fans can lend him during this time would be greatly appreciated.
