Louisville Freshman Guard Taja Cole announced Wednesday that she would be transferring from the Louisville Women’s Basketball program. Cole was a 5-7 freshman guard for the Cards in 2015-16 and averaged 2.9 points per game. Taja appeared in all 34 of UofL’s contests and started 6 games averaging 15.2 minutes per game. Cole shot 33% from the field and had 66 assists.
Taja came to Louisville from Lloyd C. Bird High School in Richmond, VA was a Top 25 prospect nationally and a McDonald’s All-American. We wish Taja the best.
