The Cards traveled to Winston-Salem last night at dealt with some delays along the way. But the Cards look to hang on to its tie for 1st place in the ACC and build on its current 6-1 record in league play, 15-5 overall.
This is a game Louisville should win. But they will need to handle business and not breathe life into the Demon Deacons. This Wake team, coached by Danny Manning, is 8-11 overall and 1-6 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Deacs have beaten NC State, but hold league losses to GT, Duke, Miami, VT, Virginia, and BC. Out of conference play WF has losses to Saint Joseph’s, Houston Baptist, Richmond and Gardner-Webb. Its best win is the NC State game, but the next best win is hard to figure. Botom line, if Louisville continues its recent play the Cards move to 7-1 in the ACC.
