“Red v. Blue” , The long-awaited sports documentary has a release date!
The movie focuses on the Louisville vs. Kentucky rivalry and was made BY people who live and breathe College Basketball’s ultimate rivalry. Keep up with the filmmaker’s and other events associated with the film here.
Red v. Blue’s first screening will take place the day before the Battle of the Bluegrass on December 27th at the Lexington Opera House as an invite only event. Some tickets will be given away at the Lexington screening on the 27th.
The filmmakers hoped to have simultaneous premiere’s but Louisville’s Bowl game being on the 28th caused the crew to make the Louisville premiere on the 29th of December. There will be two showings in Louisville on the 29th at the Muhammad Ali Center. The 7 PM showing will be for contest winners, and the 9 PM showing will be the first general admission screening.
In Eastern, KY fans will have an opportunity to see the film on December 30th at the historic SIPP Theater in Paintsville, KY and will be a general admission showing at 7 PM.
