Louisville Linebacker Monty Montgomery entered his name into the transfer portal on Monday. Monty’s 2021 campaign was derailed with a season-ending injury during the UCF game. But Montgomery roared back in 2022 with 70 tackles, 11 TFLs, 6 sacks, 4 Forced Fumbles, 2 PBUs and 2 Interceptions. Losing Monty is a big hit to the UofL defense who was already on the hunt for interior linebackers.
