The athletic department announced earlier this afternoon that the Louisville Women’s Basketball team will travel to Paradise Island next year to participate in the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis.
Taking place November 19-21, Louisville will be one of eight teams to participate in the second annual women’s Battle 4 Atlantis. The lineup will include Louisville, Gonzaga, Marquette, Rutgers, South Dakota State, UCLA, Tennessee, and Texas.
Lea Miller-Tooley, Tournament Director of Battle 4 Atlantis said, “We are thrilled to continue the tradition of hosting elite women’s and men’s college basketball programs at Atlantis in 2022. The Inaugural Women’s Battle 4 Atlantis proved to be a huge success and will carry over as the premier Women’s Tournament as we go into our second year. The Battle 4 Atlantis events will continue to be the highlight of early-season basketball schedules.”
