The Atlantic Coast Conference and the American Athletic Conference announced Tuesday that the 2016 Louisville at Houston football game will be played on Thursday, November 17, and will be nationally televised by ESPN.
The game will be one of five ACC games played on Thursday night and nationally televised by ESPN including Clemson at Georgia Tech on Sept. 22, Miami at Virginia Tech on Oct. 20, Virginia Tech at Pitt on October 27, and North Carolina at Duke on November 10.
The game will mark the first time the Cardinals and Cougars have played each other on ESPN’s Thursday night package. It will be the second time an ACC team has played at Houston for a Thursday night ESPN game. Miami traveled to Houston in 2004.
