Team Stats We’re Tracking

-The Cardinal Defense has allowed 550 yards rushing thus far in 2014 which is a pace to allow just 894 yards. The pace would be #3 All-Time behind 1997’s 892 yard performance, and 2001’s record setting defense when the Cards allowed just 879 yards.  Boston College is likely to put up a rather large rushing total (due to their offensive style) but we’ll keep a close eye on this.

-UofL’s Defense is allowing just 14.6 points per game which would be the 6th best performance in school history.

-Additionally the Cards D has allowed only 1610 yards on the season, which paces for an outstanding 2616 yards allowed.  Such a total would yield the #6 Defensive performance in school history.

-UofL’s 30.9 points per game would be the 11th best scoring average in school history tying the 1972 Cards.

-Louisville has 1157 rushing yards this season, packing for a 1880 yards on the ground for the season which will leave this team rushing performance outside of the Top 10.

-The Cards have 1806 yards passing in 2014 thus far, pacing for a 2934 yards in the air which would not crack the Top 10 passing performances in school history.
