As the beginning of the 2024 University of Louisville football season draws closer, the program has announced the 2024 promotional calendar for the six-game home schedule at L&N Stadium.
The promotional calendar will feature numerous theme games, tributes, and special events to help provide an immersive fan experience throughout the season.
The complete promotional schedule is listed below along with ticketing information for the six-game home schedule:
Saturday, Aug. 31 vs. Austin Peay
Home Opener
The Cards open the season at home, with a non-conference match-up with Austin Peay.
Ville’ns Appreciation
It’s also Ville’ns Appreciation Day, with special giveaways and opportunities for the most loyal student fans.
Saturday, Sept. 7 vs. Jacksonville State
Salute to Service
The Cardinals will host Salute to Service game, honoring both veterans and active military personnel with various ticket offers and exclusive recognitions throughout the day.
U.S. Army Golden Knights
We are honored to be joined once again by the U.S. Army Parachute Team — The Golden Knights, for a pregame jump into the stadium.
Harry Douglas Honored Jersey Ceremony
Harry Douglas’ No. 85 jersey will be added to the honored jerseys in L&N Stadium. The UofL Athletics Hall of Famer was one of the top receivers in UofL history, and still holds multiple receiving records.
Saturday, Sept. 21 vs. Georgia Tech
Kids Day
Kids Day returns to L&N Stadium as the youngest members of Card Nation take over the game and participate in a range of in-game activities and experiences. Extra Yard for Teachers – Educator Appreciation Day
The Georgia Tech game will also feature the Cards’ annual celebration and recognition of local educators, with exclusive ticket discounts available for UofL faculty and staff and those working in local school districts. More details, including the exclusive online ordering link, will be released in conjunction with single game ticket sales. Purchases will be restricted to those with specific school email address domains (“@COUNTY.kyschools.us” or “@louisville.edu“). Scout Day
As part of the annual Scout Day, local Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops have access to discounted group tickets, and can pick up an exclusive Louisville scout patch.
10-Year ACC Anniversary
The 2024 season the 10th anniversary of Louisville joining the ACC.
Spirit Day
The Louisville cheer squads and Ladybirds will host a youth clinic prior to kickoff and a special performance on the field during the game. Registration will be available later this summer.
UL Health Halftime Performance
This game will feature the annual UL Marching Band and UL Health halftime performance, where we partner with survivors in the community to put on an extra special halftime.
U.S. Navy Leap Frogs
Louisville Football will welcome the U.S. Navy Parachute Team – The Leap Frogs, to L&N Cardinal stadium for the first time, as they jump in for a pregame ceremony.
Saturday, Oct. 5 vs. SMU
50th Anniversary of Rumble in the Jungle / Ali Day
2024 marks the 50th anniversary Muhammad Ali and George Foreman’s Rumble in the Jungle fight. We will honor our hometown legend throughout the game.
Cardinal Family weekend
Hosted by the Louisville Parents and Family Association, the annual Cardinal Family Weekend welcomes families of UofL students to campus for a weekend full of fall activities. For more information about Family Weekend, visit https://louisville.edu/parents/events/familyweekend
Oktoberfest
Look for special Oktoberfest concessions deals throughout the game.
Band Day
The UofL Cardinal Marching Band “Band Day” provides an opportunity for high school band students to see a collegiate marching band and football team at their best. Students join the Cardinal Marching band for pregame practice and have the opportunity to perform on the field at halftime.
Saturday, Oct. 19 vs. Miami
Homecoming
The Cardinals host Miami for the annual Homecoming game, as the traditional Homecoming Coronation and Alumnus of the Year recognition takes place at halftime. For more information on homecoming activities, visit uoflalumni.org.
Athletics Alumni Weekend
Former Louisville student-athletes are welcomed back to campus for a pre-game tailgate party and will be given tickets to cheer on the Cardinals versus the Hurricanes
Hall of Fame Weekend
Louisville is proud to honor the newest inductees into the Athletics Hall of Fame. The 2024 class, which will be announced at a later date, will be acknowledged during the game following their induction Friday night.
Teddy Bridgewater Honored Jersey Ceremony
Teddy Bridgewater’s No. 5 jersey will be added to the honored jerseys in L&N Stadium. Bridgewater led the Cards to a BCS Bowl Game and was named MVP of both the 2013 Sugar Bowl and the 2013 Russell Athletics Bowl.
Saturday, Nov. 23 vs. Pitt
Senior Day
Join us to celebrate the senior class for the annual Senior Day celebration. Come early and settle in before kickoff as the Cardinals honor the 2024 senior class.
Season Ticket Member Appreciation
As a thank you to the most loyal ticket members, Louisville Football celebrates its season ticket members with exclusive prizes, experiences, and recognitions.
Ag Day Tailgate
Join us pregame at The Alley for the inaugural Ag Day Tailgate. Agricultural Vendors and Associations from across the state will provide a BBQ meal for this ticketed pregame tailgate, with proceeds benefiting the agricultural community. Please note for this game only, all attendees at The Alley must purchase a ticket. More details to follow.

Season Ticket Memberships
Season tickets are available for as little as $25 per game.
