Kyle Kuric, a former University of Louisville guard/forward who as a senior helped lead the Cardinals to the 2012 NCAA Final Four, remains in critical condition following brain surgery last Thursday and again today in Barcelona, Spain.
Kuric’s clinical condition has worsened. He has developed more cerebral edema, a swelling in the brain caused by the presence of excessive fluid. He had surgery today and is on a ventilator with sedation. Kuric continues on aggressive medical treatment with his neurosurgical team at Clinica Medico Teknon.
