Three more former Louisville Cardinals were invited to NBA Summer Leagues over the last few days.
Wayne Blackshear – Charlotte Hornets
Wayne will play with the Charlotte Hornets in Orlando, FL’s summer league beginning July 2-8th. Blackshear was a 4-year player for the Cards and a former McDonald’s All-American. From Chicago, Wayne was a 2013 National Champion and Academic All-American in 2015. Blackshear played last season with Pistoia Basket 2000, an Italian team in the Tuscany region.
Chane Behanan – Dallas Mavericks
Behanan will play with the Dallas Mavericks in the Las Vegas summer league that runs July 8-18th. Chane was a 3-yearish player for Louisville and a former McDonald’s All-American. From Cincinnati by way of Bowling Green Chane was a 2013 National Champion, Big East All-Rookie in 2012 and played last season with Soles de Mexicali, a Mexican team in the Baja region.
Kyle Kuric – Phoenix Suns
After battling brain tumors and post-surgery recovery Kyle Kuric is back on the court and has been invited by the Phoenix Suns to their Summer League in Las Vegas from July 8-18th. Kuric was a 4-year player for the Cards, played in the 2012 Final Four, Big East All Tournament Team in 2012, and was the 2011 Dunk of the Year Winner. From Evansville, Indiana Kyle has been with the Spanish club Gran Canaria (Spanish Islands) since 2014.
