Louisville picked up the 19th commitment of the 2015 Signing Class Monday morning when Amonte Caban of Smith’s Station HS in Smiths, ALmade his pledge with the Cards. Caban joins Paul Harris, Trey Smith, Lamar Jackson, Jaylen Smith, GG Robinson, Traveon Samuel, Khane Pass, Matt Colburn, Tim Bonner, Troy Thingstad, TJ Jallow, James Allen, Matt Colburn, Aaron Cochran, Chandler Jones, Kareem Orr, Dahu Green and Jonathan Greenard in the 2015 Signing Class. Iowa Western has been a fertile recruiting ground for the Cards with Ryan Hubbell and Trevon Young both coming to the Cards from that program.
Caban chose the Cards over Auburn, Clemson, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Tennessee and is a 3-star prospect by all 3 scouting services.
