Shaquille Wiggins comes to Louisville from the University of Georgia after appearing in 12 games and making 8 starts as a freshman for the 8-5 Georgia Bulldogs.

Wiggins had 19 tackles, 2 INTs (including one vs. Nebraska in Gator Bowl & the other returned for TD vs. Vandy), 3 TFLS, and 4 Pass Break-Ups in his one year at Georgia.

Wiggins chose Georgia over scholarship offers from Auburn, Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida, Louisville, Michigan, Mississippi State, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia, and Wake Forest.

Shaq comes from Sandy Creek, GA and was the 39th ranked prospect on the ESPN 150, a part of 2012 Georgia Sports Writers Association All-State Class AAAA First Team defense & played in 2013 Under Armour All-America game. Wiggins sported a 4-star rating from ESPN, 247Sports, Rivals, and Scout.com as a member of the PrepStar All-Southeast Region & Atlanta Journal-Constitution All-State Class AAAA defense. Shaq was the #6 rated CB in the nation by ESPN, and the #5 overall prospect from the state of Georgia in 2013 recruiting class. 247 had Shaq as the #16 rated CB, #44 CB by Rivals, #15 CB by Fox Sports NEXT.
