Former 5-Star Point Guard in the 2022 class Skyy Clark is reportedly set to visit Louisville this week according to 247Sports’ Travis Branham and On3’s Joe Tipton.
Skyy was originally signed with Kentucky in the November signing period (out of Montverde Academy)back in 2021 but decommitted in March of 2022 sparking interest between Louisville and Clark during the Kenny Payne transition. Skyy ultimately committed and played with Brad Underwood at Illinois.
But things didn’t last long with Illinois as Clark left the team in January. Skyy said on social media: “This decision has nothing to do with basketball, but it does have everything to do with prioritizing myself and my family’s well-being.”
Travis Branham said that “the recruitment of Clark is not expected to take long”. Sky Clark started the first 12 games of the season for Illinois, played in 13 games and averaged 7.0 points, 2.1 ast and 3.7 rebs as a true freshman for Illinois.
