Mr. Basketball Finalist Tyler Sharpe from Bullitt East High School has decided to accept a walk-on spot for Louisville Basketball next season.
The Chargers won 27 games this season and reached the 6th Region Final. Sharpe averaged 19.5 ppg with 4.3 rebounds while shooting 42.2% from the field, including 34.8% from 3.
Tyler held scholarship offers from IU Southeast, Pikeville, and Kentucky State.
Louisville had a walk-on spot left available after Dillon Avare graduated and transferred to Eastern Kentucky to take a scholarship with the Colonels.
The Cards still have one scholarship available for the 2016-17 season after Frankie Hughes & UofL decided to go separate ways last week.
