It’s been an eye-opening climate in regards to social issues surrounding football these past few weeks. Particularly in the NFL. Most of us use sports as an outlet, William Gay is using sports as a platform to tell his story about domestic violence and the impact that it had on him and his family. His mother was killed as a result of domestic violence, and the following video is Will telling his story via the Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh.
Peter King from Sports Illustrated’s Monday Morning Quarterback updated the story as a result of the current climate. You can read that here.
