Louisville Wide Receiver James Quick has signed his contract with the Washington Redskins. Quick’s deal with the Redskins is for 3-years, $1,665,000, there was no signing bonus. James will earn an average salary of $555,000 throughout his contract and will earn $465,000 as a rookie with the Redskins with $90,000 raises each year of the contract. Quick will be a restricted free agent in 2020.
James will have to earn a spot on the active roster in order to earn this contract, like every NFL player. Quick was undrafted in the 2017 Draft and was quickly picked up by Washington at the conclusion of the draft. James had 45 catches for 769 yards and 6 Touchdowns for Louisville in 2016 and led the Cards in total receiving yardage. Quick is a Louisville native from Trinity High School.
