IM A MCDONALD’S ALL AMERICAN!!! 🙌🏾😈🏀
— VJ King (@VJKing13) January 18, 2016
Louisville Signee VJ King has been named a McDonald’s All-American. The Paul IV High phenom is the 1st Louisville McDonald’s All-American in 5 years when Wayne Blackshear and Chane Behanan were both selected for the game in 2011.
King is a consensus 5-star prospect by every major scouting service. The McDonald’s All-American game is March 30th in Chicago’s United Center. VJ was also selected for the Jordan Brand Classic game April 15th in Brooklyn’s Barclay Center. With VJ’s selection in both games, it’s unlikely that he’ll choose to participate in the Derby Classic at Freedom Hall.
